Empowering Students to Engage with Community Leaders on Critical Issues
"Make it a Conversation" is an engaging program that empowers students to lead the way and connect with community leaders and experts on important topics such as law enforcement, race relations, health, and legislative processes. In partnership with the Jackson Teen Center, our members have the opportunity to select subjects of interest and collaborate with the Center Director to invite speakers who will share their expertise and insights.
Our program is designed to be productive and meaningful for all involved. Students prepare for each session by developing thoughtful questions and focus areas, ensuring that each conversation is focused and informative. By providing a platform for open and honest dialogue, "Make it a Conversation" aims to encourage positive change and empower the next generation of leaders.
Volunteer Opportunities
"Make it a Conversation" offers a wealth of rewarding volunteer opportunities, including program presenters and mentors for shadowing experiences. Our program is proud to be part of the Kershaw County community, which has a long-standing tradition of supporting youth programs through volunteering.
Join us in making a positive impact in the lives of young people and helping them develop the skills and knowledge they need to thrive.
